The Minetruck MT42 offers a combination of power, manoeuvrability, operator comfort and serviceability. Eight forward and two reverse gears, coupled with articulated steering, four-wheel drive and SAHR brakes allow the Minetruck to operate effectively in a range of underground hauling scenarios.

“Some trucks can lose traction on inclines, especially when they are not carrying a load or in wet conditions,” says Jan Lehtinen, truck operator, Euromining at Boliden’s Garpenberg Mine, Sweden. “These condition are no problem for the MT42, you just drive straight on.”

Field tests at the mine demonstrated the capabilities of the Minetruck MT42 as well as the comfort of the ROPS/FOPS approved operator’s cabin which features an air suspended seat, air conditioning and multifunction display monitor.
